Both growers and blowers have taken NYC Diesel to their heart for good reasons. Growers enjoy the ease of cultivation, the high yields and the extreme potency of the end product and blowers love her for the intense flavor and strong cerebral high. NYC Diesel was sired by crossing Original Diesel with a hybrid strain with the genetics of Northern Light, Shiva and Hawaiian.

The Sativa dominance (75%) of this strain is reflected in its growth structure and the heady effect of the smoke. Indoors, the plants can reach a height of around 100-130cm – grown outdoors they will grow up to a height of 150-200cm. In full maturity the very resinous buds emanate an intense, somewhat chemical, herbal and sour smell. The relatively long flowering time of 10-12 weeks could be a drawback for impatient, but true Sativa lovers will bear with it.

Indoors, the long wait is rewarded with a yield in the range of 475-525g/m² or 550-600 grams per plant when reared outdoors, ready for harvesting in late October! But quantity means nothing if the quality sucks – nothing to worry here, 19% of the harvest are pure THC and there is a good pinch of CBD at play as well. Most users will experience a strong boost of cerebral activity right after the very first puff.
